Data Projects
Blue Thumb volunteers learn a lot about their creeks when they monitor, and they can share the data with their community through a data project. The goal of a data project is to spread awareness about a creek and motivate others to take part in stream protection. A data project can come in many forms ranging from an educational exhibit at a local event, creating education materials for watershed residents (like a flyer, brochure, or signage), a creek-side education and cleanup event, or a write up on findings from monitoring data. Blue Thumb encourages our volunteers to be creative with their data projects!
