Project WET
Project WET, or Water Education Today has a goal to promote awareness, appreciation, knowledge, and stewardship of water resources through classroom-ready teaching materials and educator workshops. Included in each workshop is the award-winning, NSTA-recommended Curriculum and Activity Guide 2.0 which is interdisciplinary and developed, field-tested, and reviewed by educators and professionals and correlated to the current NGSS standards.

Blue Thumb has incorporated Project WET into their volunteer trainings! When attending a training, new volunteers will learn about Project WET, go through a few of the exercises that we commonly use, and receive a Project WET Curriculum and Activity Guide and certificate. This training offers six (6) professional development or continuing education hours. The cost to attend one day of training is $15.00. If you would like to attend both days of training and become a certified Blue Thumb volunteer, the cost is $25.00 per person. Information about upcoming trainings is posted on our homepage and on Facebook.
