For volunteers who want to know more, Blue Thumb holds data interpretation sessions to help volunteers understand the results of their monitoring efforts. Volunteers then write a data interpretation for their stream, using their own data, as well as the data obtained from their bug and fish collections, which helps them learn more about water quality, the data they collect, and the stream they care about.

Want to know what the streams are like in your county? Click on one of the Blue Thumb icons on the map below to find out the creek name, read the data interpretation report and see what kinds of fish live there. Can't find your creek? Contact us to see how you can become a Blue Thumb volunteer creek monitor at bluethumb@conservation.ok.gov
